The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination. ~ Carl Rogers

My name is Felicity and I offer compassionate support through the healing journey by offering a safe and non-judgemental space to explore and process whatever issues or situations that are troubling you.

As an integrative counsellor, I will use various therapeutic modalities to ensure my approach to counselling is unique to your healing journey.

I work collaboratively with my clients to address symptoms and challenges that arise from trauma, anxiety, low self-confidence, and low self-esteem.

Through the counselling process, as a client, you will develop coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and rebuild a sense of empowerment and control. Counselling can be beneficial if you are looking to foster healthier relationships, enhance your self-esteem and your confidence.

I work with adult individuals and couples from all walks of life and backgrounds, bringing me a diverse range of problems. As a fully qualified counsellor to Level 5 Advance Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their code of ethics.

The First Session

I offer a free 20 minute initial phone call so we can discuss goals, ask each other questions, and see if we would like to work together.

Sessions are 50 minutes and can be either in person in Surrey or online.

The first session can be daunting and so I endeavor to put you at ease by providing a warm, safe space where you can feel comfortable with me. I will ask you to tell me a little of your story and what has brought you to therapy at this time. We will talk about your relationships, your goals, strengths and weaknesses and we will think about what you would like to achieve in therapy and how best I can help you in this process.

My style of relating has been described as warm, compassionate and gently challenging. I believe you are the expert on you and will never tell you what to do however I will offer my insights and reflections to help you identify blind spots, shift your perspective and learn to take action that leads to change.
